Features and Benefits

"ELV-AWAY"® Tape offers easy release from the liner (liner doesn't tear) and good die-cutting characteristics. Our tape is resistant to elevated temperatures and most solvents, and has stability in processing combined with conformability in the end-use application. "ELV-AWAY"® also resists waxes, degreasers and all known fluxes. Our standard product comes in roll form. We offer various widths and we also offer die-cutting sheets, on a special case by case bid.

Physical Characteristics

The tape comes in either Light Blue or Natural (clear) colors. It is neutral ph (in solution). "ELV-AWAY"® Tape comes in rolls of various widths,(die-cuts) and is odor-free. Each roll is individually sealed with moisture absorbing packet.

Application

"ELV-AWAY"® Tape utilizes a softer, more conformable adhesive system which offers greater protection of the masked areas. Simply strip off the desired length, remove the release liner and cover desired areas--you are ready to solder. (Dispenser automatically strips release liner.) No drying--no set-up. COMPONENT HOLDDOWN is another application of the tape that is often overlooked.

Surface Preparation

It is essential, as with all pressure-sensitive tapes, that the surface to which the tape is applied be clean, dry and free of grease and oil.

Shelf Life

Lost River Products recommends no longer than 3 months on your shelf.
Each roll is supplied in a sealed bag which contains a moisture absorbing packet. The package should be kept intact until use.
